According to a new study by the Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation in Chicago, written by Dr. Alan R. Hirsch, you can look up to 12 Lbs. lighter if you wear a floral-spice odor. Im all for that, lets face it, all these face creams we try only make a slight difference so a spritz of the lovely scents below might well be worth it. Want Fresh Baked Bread at the Supermarket? Heres how

Ever wonder what the tags on the bread at the supermarket mean? Well, neither did I but now im here to share with you the meaning of the colors used for tagging breads at supermarkets. It turns out, they indicate when the loaf was baked.

The standard is as follows:

Blue: Monday
Green: Tuesday
Red: Thursday
White: Friday
Yellow: Saturday

And here's a quick color key that you can keep on you, if you dont want to memorize them:

A quick way to remember, is that yhey are color coded in order of the alphabet B, G, R, W, Y now you can have your pick of the freshest bread in the store. And it’s true. Even the oh so-cynical Snopes.com backs it up. Hope this helped!

I cam across a lovely article on BHG a few weeks ago and wanted to share this great idea. Perfectly dyed lampshades to match you color scheme in any room of the house.

I love Rit dye, have been using it lately to freshen up my work uniforms as they fade quickly. These little bottles

Cool Fish Bowls -For a Happy Home

Hey Guys,
I came across these really cool fishbowls the first is a super cute set of bookends. It can be used as either a vase or fishbowl. I'm not too sure if there is enough room for a fish to swim in there, but it would be cute to spruce up a plain old bookshelf or desk.
You can get it by going to www.welldressedhome.com for about $60.00 a set. I know kinda pricey, but for all the comlpliments you'll get, its well worth it.

The other cool fishbowl I came across is the fish condo!Love it! How chic. The fish condo is a glass fishbowl with a white ABS shell. Fishbowls can be stacked for a condo-like appearance.

Designed by Teddy Luong a student at Carlton University’s School of Industrial Design who won the Canadian Build a Better Competition. Or at least that is what every Google search for this thing says – for the life of me I can neither confirm nor deny the existence of such a competition. Crazy Canadians. Smellin Good!!!

Hey my beautiful people, wanted to share this amazing fragrance line I came across: DEMETER by definition means goddess of the harvest!

Their line of perfumes are simply devine one splash in the a.m. and you will smell the same way all day long. A normal perfume divides itself into three notes as it mellows over several hours:top, middle and bottom. Thats o.k. if you like all three scents, but not if you want that initial scent you sprayed at the begining of the day. Which is why I love and want to share this until now hard to find line DEMETER.
